The Bill M6 Type 2 6A Circuit Breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch. It has been designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage. Especially damage caused by excess current from an overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to interrupt current flow after a fault is detected.
Why should I use a Bill M6 Type 2 6A Circuit Breaker?
Should I use a circuit breaker or fuse? A fuse and circuit breaker both protect from an overloaded circuit by disrupting the current continuity. Fuses are faster to disrupt the current flow. However they must be replaced after a piece of metal melts down. Whereas circuit breakers can be reset and used multiple times.
